European Craftmanship Built on Generations of Experience

Company founder, Aaron Strand, grew up in the construction industry. His European father ran a successful construction company for over 40 years.  Aaron learned every aspect of the construction industry, beginning as a young boy cleaning the job site and gradually working his way up becoming a polished, professional carpenter.

After graduating from UBC, Aaron went back to his roots, starting his own construction company in 2002 - Strand Structures Ltd.  At its beginnings, Stand Structures focused on residential and commercial concrete form work, completing hundreds of buildings and projects throughout Greater Vancouver.  Over the past decade, Strand Structures has expanded its services to include renovation projects and custom homes.
